QR Code Generator
Turn a link or a block of text into a scannable QR code — with your choice of size, colour and error correction.
Generated and downloaded locally — the content is never uploaded.
How to use
- Enter the content —— Paste a URL or type any text. The longer the content, the denser the pattern.
- Set the appearance —— Size controls sharpness — for print, use at least 600 px.
- Generate and download —— Click "Generate QR code", check that it scans, then download the PNG.
About QR Code Generator
A QR code is simply text encoded as a grid of black and white squares. The error-correction level decides how much of the code can be damaged or obscured and still scan: L tolerates about 7%, M about 15%, Q about 25% and H about 30%. If you plan to place a logo in the middle of the code, choose H.
These codes are static: the data lives inside the pattern itself, so nothing depends on this website. The code will keep working for as long as the link inside it does. That is the opposite of a short-link QR code, which stops working the moment the shortener shuts down.
Generation happens locally in your browser, so whatever you type never reaches a server.
FAQ
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The code contains the data itself and does not depend on any server, so it works forever. If what you encoded is a short link, however, the code is only as permanent as the shortener.
Why will my code not scan?
Three usual causes: the content is too long, so the pattern is too dense; not enough contrast between foreground and background; or the image is too small. Dark foreground on a white background is the reliable combination.
Can I put my logo in the middle?
This tool does not composite a logo, but set the error-correction level to H and download, then paste your logo into the centre with any image editor — the code will still scan.
